Privacy policy

This is my personal portfolio. This policy explains what data the site collects, why, and the choices you have. I keep it short and honest.
What I collect
When you browse, the site records anonymous analytics: the pages you visit, links you click, time spent on each page, scroll depth, your device/browser, referrer, approximate location (country/city derived from your IP), and your IP address. A random anonymous ID (stored in your browser) lets me recognise return visits — it is not linked to your identity. If you send a message via the contact form, I store your name, email, and message so I can reply.
Why I collect it
To understand how visitors use the site and improve it, and to respond to messages you send me. That's it — no ads, no selling data, no cross-site tracking.
Cookies & local storage
The site stores a few small values in your browser: an anonymous visitor/session ID, your chosen colour theme, and your consent choice. No third-party advertising cookies.
Who processes it
Analytics and the messages you send via the contact form are stored in Supabase. Aggregate, anonymised analytics also go to Google Analytics. Each only receives what's needed to do its job — no data is sold or shared otherwise.
Your choices
Decline analytics via the banner at the bottom of the page (your choice is remembered). I also honour your browser's “Do Not Track” setting. To request deletion of your data or a message you sent, email me and I'll remove it.
Retention
Analytics data is kept only as long as it's useful and may be purged periodically. Messages are kept so I can stay in touch unless you ask me to delete them.
